The Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) is a small gorgeous tree with ace of heart-shaped leaves and striking pink to purplish spring flowers. Native to eastern North America, the small to medium-sized tree is highly versatile and enhances garden landscapes.
Its ornamental features make the eastern redbud tree a popular ornamental tree for landscaping gardens. Flowers are often used to eat, make oil for salads and added to bake goods. The maceration oil is used as a carrier oil for favorite essential oils and blends and for making lotions, creams, serum for skincare, and added to massage oils. Has a soft subtle sweet floral aroma.
