Aroma: Light, slightly sweet citrusy, soft floral aroma with woody, and spice notes. Also known as Holy Land Pine and  Sea Pine. Also, once known as Pistacia palestina during the Ottoman and British Mandate Palestine Occupation of the Holy Land of Israel. This material has a fresh, coniferous, resinous, woody, and faintly floral citrus note to it.

Terenbinth Pine is a much gentler and sweet aroma oil compared to Scotch Pine and Black Pine. Terenbinth Pine has a higher ester content than the other pine essential oils. This gives the oil its analgesic effect as well as giving it sedative and anti-anxiety properties. Terenbinth pine has also been found to be beneficial for pain and arthritis.

The Modern Hebrew word for the pine, Oren, is mentioned only once in the Bible, in Isaiah 44:14 (He planted ארן ‘oren. The Septuagint renders it, Πίτυν Pitun, which means Pine, while other trees like cedar (Erez), cypress (Berosh), oak (Alon) ore frequently mentioned. However, Terebinth (Elah Oren) is mentioned only once in the Scriptures. It has been passed down from one generation to another that Oren refers to this pine tree in the original Hebrew language.

This essential oil comes to you from the Holy Land. Mediterranean Tetenbinth Pine is the same Pine spoken about in the Bible.  Our ancestors walked through the forests and the hills of Israel learned to use the resources most modern outdoor enthusiasts truly overlook.
The terebinth tree itself is a sight to behold, a small, deciduous flowering tree or shrub, showcasing lightly glossy leaves and vibrant red-purple flowers. As the seasons change, the fruit transforms, maturing from a vibrant red to a deep, rich black. The gentle aroma of the resin is a sensory delight, whispering of the benefits held within.
These pines grow by the Mediterranean sea and the Kinneret Galilee sea, the hill of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and Jordon borders that were once a apart of the state of Israel. This tree can also be found sharing space with Aleppo Pine, which also grows in Israel.
