However we purchase these delicious ugly not so perfectlyoranges to create this special Joppa/Jaffa Orange Essential Oil.
It is an orange liquid with a distinctive fresh, sweet/pungent fruity-citrus bouquet. Freshly harvested and it definitely smells like a real true Orange very juicy like “running down your arm good” aroma. Its overall bouquet is more intense and has an amazing juicy orange scent like walking in an orange grove orchard in Jaffa Orange Orchards in Israel. it is truly Jaffa in a bottle!
Jaffa/Joppa/Jappa is filled with history as well as aroma! The Harbor of Jaffa is one of the oldest functioning harbors still in operation today, just 30 miles south of Caesarea on the Mediterranean Sea just outside of Tel Aviv. Jaffa is where the small fishing boats were when Jonah went to flee from Elohim to Tarshish (Jonah 1:3).

In a span of a few decades, Jaffa oranges achieved global fame and even made their way to Queen Victoria’s table. They started their journey in the ancient Jaffa port, initially in burlap sacks to let the oranges breathe during shipping and later in wooden crates, with each fruit carefully wrapped in tissue paper to prevent spoilage.
