Aroma is sweet with light tart, citrusy, earthy, and nutty honey notes. Persimmon extract is often used in soaps, body wash, sprays, and laundry soap for neutralizing, removing, and treating the presence of Nonenal odour.
Ingredients are Persimmon Fruit Extract, Persimmon seed oil, Persimmon oil, Persimmon Leaf extract oil, artisan distilled Etrog Citron hydrosol water, Witch Hazel artisan distilled flower hydrosol water, and distilled Persimmon Leaf hydrosol water. This is a Proprietary Blend so ingredients will not be on the label.
Interesting note about the seeds. The bright orange fruit trees are found mainly along the coastline of Israel, in the Sharon region, and in the Golan Heights. According to old-timers, the seed of the persimmon can be used to predict the severity of winter weather. When cut into two pieces, the persimmon seed will display one of three symbols. A knife shape will indicate a cold, icy winter (where the wind will cut through you like a knife). A fork shape indicates a mild winter. A spoon shape stands for a shovel to dig out the snow.”
There are few studies that show the chemical compound Nonenal is something we all develop with age, is responsible for the lingering odor in clothing, shoes, bed linens, and even lingers in the air of home and workspace. The persimmon is coveted to create deodorants, soaps, laundry soap, body wash, and body lotions. This room spray is to help neutralize the smell that lingers in closets, clothing, and the air. The Sharon (plains) region of the Holy Land is referred to in the Bible. ( 1 Chronicles 5:16; Isaiah 33:9 ) Two thousand years ago was referred to as “the Sharon” during the second Temple era called. The name has on each occurrence, 1 Chronicles 5:16 tells us how important this region was and would therefore appear that “the Sharon” was a well-defined region familiar to the Israelites even during King Solomon’s reign as king. It is a large, rich part of the Holy Land. Land which lies between the mountains of the central part of the Holy Land and the Mediterranean, the northern area of Shefelah.
Some Jewish scholars and sages think it is also from the passage that it was in the district on the east of the Jordan border, in the area of Gilead and Bashan this Persimmon fruit grew beside the infamous Balm of Gilead. Today, all Persimmons are called “Sharon Fruit” in Hebrew, but most persimmons are not true “Sharon Fruit,” especially the Japanese variety, which was brought into Israel just 30 years ago, where traces of seed, core, and bitter tannin taste have been bred out of it.
