Opopanax Erythraea is made from the resin of trees. Opoponax oil has a earthy floral, sweet myrrh notes, with a balsamic tenacity, and light citrus and caramel like notes with, sweet-musky.
It is very relaxing and takes away negative thoughts. Opoponax Oil is versatile oil as it blends well with other oils which belong to the wood, resin, floral and citrus families.
Pure Opoponax Essential Oil can be used as a middle or base note in perfumery because of its natural, spicy, and floral fragrance application. It acts as a natural fixative as well. The absolute oil has Antiseptic, Anti-oxidant, expectorant, and antispasmodic properties.
Some of the main constituents of Opoponax oil are (E)-B-Bergamotene, (E)-B-Ocimene, (z)-a-Bisabolene, a-Bergamotene, a-Santalene, Decanol, and Germacrene D.
Opoponax Myrrh Oil is beneficial for prayer and meditation. It helps to calm nerves, uplifting when feeling sad. Opoponax oil is helpful for skin therapy too. Its antiseptic and antimicrobial properties help to eliminate bacteria present in our skin.

The heavy fragrant resins are then placed in an Israeli-made clay jar in Israel for 18 days in a dry, cool place to absorb the energy of the Holy Land and it is then distilled by the traditional method in Israel.
