Warm, softly sweet, green floral, and slightly balsamic and woodsy
A cousin flower of Ylang Ylang. Softer aroma and perfect for perfume blends, skincare and relif of aches and pains. Aromatically, Cananga Oil resembles Ylang Ylang Oil, but it is less floral and is commonly described as being greener than ylang ylang.
Though Cananga Essential Oil is sometimes treated as an inferior cousin to Ylang Ylang Oil, there are those that prefer its aroma. Cananga and Ylang Ylang have completely different chemical compositions, and their therapeutic uses differ from one another. Flower are yellow but curled up whereas Ylang Ylang flowers do not curl.
Blends Well With Amryis, Pemou, Bergamot, Black Pepper, All Cedarwood, Copaiba Oleoresin, Pink Grapefruit, Jasmine Absolute, Lavender (all), Orange (all), Patchouli, All Sandalwood.
