We really love this oil so very much. Clary sage from Bulgaria is one of the few oils that is getting hard to find along with white sage. Mainly because of overharvesting. Be aware some companies might say it’s from Bulgaria and it may not be and most likely is adulterated.
There is only one reliable and sustainable source of clary sage which is from Bulgaria. This listing is for Bulgarian species we carefully and purposefully grew organically from seeds which we aquired from the bulgarian organic farm. We harvested and distilled the sage in Israel. Why? Simply because the Bulgarian species is the very best species of Clary Sage there is and because we cannot get Bugarian sage oil shipped to Israel so this batch is limited. We just love it’s aroma and and benefits.
Clary Sage is great to use as a antidepressant, antispasmodic, deodorant, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, tonic, and uterine. It is well known for providing a euphoric action, for balancing uterine issues, and as an agent to clean greasy hair. There is also some documentation of its effectiveness in helping to relax the spasms of asthma
