Wisdom from the Sages:
I have been asked many times about how to slow aging process. It always hits me that why worry about such a thing when living in the moment is what keeps us young. In that moment or that split second you are ageless.
Take out your calendars …actually, take out your watches, because you will have to set them. We are about to gain one whole second!
It’s called a “leap second,” and it happens once every ten years. For those who are not familiar with the term (I wasn’t either), on June 30 a second will be inserted into our day to help reconcile the slight discrepancies clock and calendar. This very second is not a new second that is being added to human perceptive of the marking of time.” for it is as if a thousand years has passed you in the blink of a eye to Hashem.”
This second is the Blink of Hashem. His eye is upon us in judgment to bring the final redemption. When his eye reopens from this blink, Moshiach will be here and I will be posting from the New Beautiful Golden City of Jerusalem walking on the steps of the Holy Beis HaMikdash . When Sages say that the “Moshiach will judge by his sense of smell” – means that the soul will be judged based on what he has done that revealed greater light – actions are revealing and every deed will be revealed in our smell. We will know Moshiach by his smell also. It is the smell of Gan Aden (garden of Eden). We will recognize the smell of where creation began.
What does this have to do with age? well let see the skin is the largest organ, and is generally permeable to substances placed on it. This is particularly important in healing wounds, for the skin may be broken and more sensitive. Enter essential oils; these powerful plant derived medicines have been used for many years for treating skin conditions, enhancing beauty and promoting wellness. Oils have been found particularly useful for regenerating skin that has suffered from accidents or surgery, or has their remaining signs in the form of keloid, acne, or other scars. Certain essential oil blends may speed healing time, reduce or eliminate scars from recent wounds and even greatly diminish the appearance of old ones.
Now imagine for a moment that the only healing we need is G-d’s blink of eye. One tear from his eye is a healing salve for all his people. I personally think of essential oils as that tear. Just one drop can heal in a second. This is all the time you need. Be wise with you time as much as we want to turn back time of the aging process it all can change in a blink of an eye. Cherish every second and do not worry about that second when life ends. Think of life in this moment right this second.
