Jaffa Orange Leaf Absolute

2ml

Solvent Hexane Extracted

Extracted from Leaves and Flowers

Green to Dark Amber Green

From Israel

We are the only Producers of this absolute oil and our essential oil from Israel. Jaffa Oranges are now grown all over the world, but they are not from Israel, unlike ours.

This is the oil you will want, the real deal, grown and produced in Israel from wild Sweet Orange Leaf from Jaffa, fresh from organic orchards.  However, we purchase these gorgeous leaves for our Absolute Essential Oil and the not-so-perfect Oranges to produce our  Joppa/Jaffa Orange Essential Oil.

It is an orange leaf-green to dark amber-green liquid with a distinctive, fresh, sweet/pungent, leafy green, almost neroli flower-like, fruity-citrus bouquet. Freshly harvested, and it smells like a real, true orange, and leaves that are very juicy with those bitter-sweet leafy green notes.

Some describe it as juicy, floral green, petitgrain, herbal, peppery, woody, weedy, powdery, fatty. Its overall bouquet is more intense and has an amazing scent like walking in an orange grove orchard in Jaffa Orange Orchards in Israel, smelling both green leaves and fresh oranges and blooms. It is truly gorgeous, Jaffa, a bottle!

Historically, leaves in raw form were used for tonic or tea, which is uplifting and yet relaxing, and as a sleep aid.

Emotional Influence: Uplifting,  feeling ALIVE.  Feelings of joy, generosity, and gratitude balance (adaptogenic) the emotions, either relaxing or stimulating as needed, increase creativity, inspire harmony, and promote awareness and discernment.

Overall: Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, Antibacterial, Antidepressant, Antioxidant, Antispasmodic, Antiviral, Astringent Digestive, Aide Diuretic, Immunostimulant, Liver support/protector, Sedative Skin Penetration, Perfume Enhancer.

Jaffa/Joppa/Jappa is filled with history as well as aroma!  The Harbor of Jaffa is one of the oldest functioning harbors still in operation today, just 30 miles south of Caesarea on the Mediterranean Sea, just outside of Tel Aviv. Jaffa is where the small fishing boats were when Jonah went to flee from Elohim to Tarshish (Jonah 1:3).

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the L-RD, and went down to Jaffa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the L-RD.

Cedars would float from Phoenicia to Jaffa and then be transported to Jerusalem during the days of the construction of Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 2:16).  Cedars came from Lebanon to Jaffa during the time of King Cyrus (Ezra 3:9).

An export firm owned by Templers, members of a German Christian society who settled in Turkish and British Mandate Palestine in the 19th century, was the first to use the brand name “Jaffa” in 1870.

In a span of a few decades, Jaffa oranges achieved global fame and even made their way to Queen Victoria’s table. They started their journey in the ancient Jaffa port, initially in burlap sacks to let the oranges breathe during shipping and later in wooden crates, with each fruit carefully wrapped in tissue paper to prevent spoilage.
