These resins are known as Slash Pine and this pine comes from North Carolina from our family-owned land.
It is one of the hard yellow pines indigenous to the southeastern United States. North Carolina pine is considered to be the best slash pines in the Southeast. These particular trees are where this resin is organically grown and cultivated with tender care by yours truly. We tap our trees gently for small sap harvests. We never over tap our trees.
Slash pine is an evergreen coniferous species of tree. All conifers are excellent for inflammation and also respiratory issues. Perfect for sprinkling into coals for incense along with Frankincense, and Myrrh. When this resin is burned the pine has a nice sweet pine citrus aroma. You can use this resin powder to make lotions, salves, incense cones, carrier oil, and soaps.
