This oil is from a small grower and produce and is extracted from the needles of Canadian White Cedar, this absolute oil perfectly encapsulates the richest aromatic notes of the white Cedar’s majestic essence. White Cedar Absolute is a dark green liquid with a sweet, earthy resinous forest bouquet. It is like walking in a Canadian Cedar forest. It is clean, sweet, earthy, and everything that reminds you of the clean fresh cedar aroma from camping trips and hikes. It even has a bit of a freshly poured wet rain forest aroma.
This absolute is so thick that most Aromatherapists dilute it with Perfumer’s Alcohol. We chose not to use alcohol. So to make this oil pourable and enjoy its benefits we warmed the glass jar in a water bath and poured it into a touch of Israeli Jojoba Oil. The rich deep green color is wonderful see as a result even mixed with golden Israeli Jojoba oil. We chose Jojoba oil because it has a very long shelf life and is odorless so it does change the aroma profile. This one is gorgeous.
The Benefit of White Cedar Leaf can be attributed to its properties like astringent, diuretic, emenagogue, expectorant, awesome insect repellent, rubefacient, stimulant and opens up congestion.
