Much like White Cedar Leaf essential oil and Hydrosol are coveted and highly sought after. Real Western Red Cedar, also known as Red Thuja Cedar, is not easy to find so, this is why we decided to distill this amazing cedar ourselves. It was an expensive adventure to forge and harvest many of these highly aromatic tree branches, but it was so very worth it!
Topical application that may help with warts, muscular aches, and pains. A pleasant scent for deodorizing your home. It may be beneficial to the nervous system and respiratory issues, such as common colds and flu. It soothes skin issues like minor bouts of eczema and psoriasis, itching and redness, calms bug bites, and was often used in historical records as a mosquito repellent.
DO NOT SPRAY FACE AT ALL!
This can be used for many purposes and will often affect multiple systems all at once. It is most commonly applied in aromatherapy with the use of a diffuser, or spray, or the essential oils can be added to a personal inhaler to clear the lungs and bring more oxygen to the brain.
It is suggested by Many Certified Aromatherapists to blend ginger and sweet marjoram, lemon, and sweet orange into a personal inhaler for seasonal respiratory issues. As a Certified Aromatherapist, I certainly agree this is a great combination!
Red Cedar Hydrosol aroma profile: strong, fresh-green aroma with sharp undertones of musky citrus cedar and wood.
Red Cedar is extracted from the leaves using steam distillation. Red Cedar oil has a very fresh aroma that is camphoraceous to help open up sinuses, clear lungs, and freshen the air while also purifying the air from viruses and germs.
