Everyone knows the older the distillation of Sandalwoodthe more it ages the more valuable and more coveted this oil becomes. I own a bottle of 53-year-old Sandalwood essential oil and it is so divine in aroma and very syrupy, buttery and golden in color. This one is 6 years old and is marvelous and wonderful. It competes with even the 20-year-old bottle I own in rich buttery aroma. Sandalwood Mysore is getting very hard to acquire and the India Government is placing high Tariff fees on both the suppliers and buyers. This oil comes with India seal on the bottle.
