This lovely hydrosol is Artisan steam distilled from flowers grown from seedlings of gorgeous safe species of Rhododendron anthopogon from Nepal. We did two distillations one in USA and one in Israel. Bees just adore Rhododendron flowers.
This rhododendron essential oil is an Artisan steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of non-toxic Himalayan dwarf rhododendrons that are native in the mountains of Nepal. These plants are not to be confused with garden variety rhododendrons in home gardens and public spaces like parks.
Chemical plant constituents are Monoterpenes, Sesquiterpenes and Monoterpenols.
Therapeutic & Aromatic Properties are Antispasmodic, Antianxiety, Antimicrobial, Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory, Skin regenerative, and Antifungal (candida).
This is Spring in a bottle! the flowers bloom in a short growing season and so we wanted capture these lovely flowers before they fade away.
Aroma is fruity and fresh, sweet herbal, delicate berries, spring floral, faintly balsamic, and coniferous spice. It reminds me of sweet tarts candy.
Blend well for a lovely perfume, meditation, and often used for grounding and floral note anointing oils. Perfect for DIY lotions, creams, creating air fresheners and great for diffusers.
Blends well with Fir, Orange, Etrog, Lime, Ginger, Geranium, Ginger Lily, Lavender, Rose, and Ylang Ylang.
