Aroma is a soft light sweet carnation with deep heavy green earthy orris-like and spice floral notes. Color is dark green to dark amber brown. Please use it in moderation, since it is easily overpowering other aromas.
I must admit this was not what I was expecting when I first smelled this one for the first time while visiting an Artisan producer of this gorgeous oil that lives on the Israel and Egypt border. I fell in love with this oil. It now is the heart of many solid perfumes I make as gifts for family and friends.
The aroma to me is more like floral orris-like, honey slightly sweet spice but extremely double rich in aroma. Wowzer smacks you right in the nose gorgeous! Pink Carnation Absolute is used to bring sophistication to really high-end perfumes. Although it is not widely known for aromatherapy uses and benefits, its deep, extremely rich, floral aroma with sweet honey and spicy tones add a unique touch to other essential oils when blended together.
Blends Well With: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood (all), Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Frankincense (all), Helichrysum Italicum, Pink Lotus, Lavender (all), Lemon, Neroli, Orange (all), Peru Balsam, Rose, Vanilla, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.
These flowers are beloved by both Israeli and Egyptians alike which is why we love them as well. Natural Pink Carnations have the heaviest aroma of all carnations, These pink beauties are often used as decorations for both Israel and Arab weddings, Henna ceremonies, and engagement events.
