Organic palmarosa essential oil is steam distilled from the grass of Palmarosa a type of evergreen tall grass commonly found in East Asia. When distilled into an essential oil, the main constituents are geraniol and geranyl acetate.
This middle note has a sweet geranium-like aroma and is often used in skin care formulations and high-end perfumes.
