So we captured the essence of “Miriam’s Dance” in a bottle. The purpose of this blend is to bring joy and a renewed sense of purpose. Boost Energy and bring clarity. Each oil was chosen and carefully combined to capture the feeling of dancing and celebration when you inhale the aroma.
We chose Israeli Wild Lavender nard because it grows in the desert with Israeli Distilled Frankincense, Blue Spruce, and Juniperberry for the Middle note and Sweet Israeli Distilled Myrrh, along with Sandalwood as our base note because Miriam danced with joy from the heart and yet she was a strong leader who always saw the vision of redemption for Klal Yisroel (All of Israel). We chose several citrus oils Sweet Jaffa Sweet Orange and Lemon, and Etrog Citron from Israel for that refreshing by the sea feel and uplifting top notes.
Proprietary Blend of Sandalwood Mysore, Myrrh, Frankincense Seratta, Blue Spruce, Juniperberry, Myrtle, Lemon, Sweet Orange, Lavender Nard, Etrog Citron, and Negev Rose. Ingredients will be not be listed on the Bottle.
After recording the triumphant song offered by “Moshe and the children of Israel” on the banks of the Sea of Reeds, the Torah states: “And Miriam the Prophetess, the sister of Aharon, took the drum in her hand; and all the women went out after her with drums and with dances. And Miriam sang unto them: ‘Sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea. ” (Exodus 15:20)
The Jewish Sages tell us that we should feel excited to purchase for our family special garments, fragrances, and even prepare the drums, flutes, violin for Moshiach’s arrival like Miriam and the women who followed her expected redemption from Egypt.
Still today is the day we celebrate the life of Miriam the Prophetess; on the day she left the world. “Miriam HaNavia” She was a prophetess because she could see the future.
Did you know that Miriam was also a midwife? And a musician? She led the women in drumming and circle dances when we crossed the Red Sea.Miriam was a teacher, guiding the Jewish women.
She was a leader; an integral part in guiding her people through the horrors of slavery into freedom. She and her Hebrew sisters brought drums out of Egypt as a sign of faith that they would live to witness miracles in their Exodus.
She was a wife; tradition says that she was older than her husband Calev by 40 years!
She was a healer. The well of Miriam, in the Sea of Galilee, can heal both body and soul.
She was a Mother as well. Mother to so many! Miriam was all of those things, and so much more. Miriam’s example is within us when women gather to sing, dance, and offer thanks and praises to G-d.
