An elegant enfleurage pomade solid perfume made with Hyacinth flowers, using the cold extraction method. I used organic Shea butter, coconut, and jojoba wax as the base.
The flowers are carefully applied on to the base, while they exhale their scent, then diligently changed and recharged with new flowers, every 26 hour regularly for 30 days or more, to produce the true scent of the flower.
I did this batch for 60 days with the majority of the flowers being “Delft Blue & Purple Hyacinth” variety. It works beautifully as a single note of hyacinth, a lovely soliflore perfume. The aroma is Floral, Green Slight Spice, and Buttery The Hyacinth flower enfleurage has a creamy floral green scent, just as it does in nature.
My enfleurage pomade is always mindfully and carefully made in very small batches, only when the flowers are in season. It really is labour intensive, but also a labour of love. To create a more solid perfume we add some organic bees wax
Application is to simply apply with finger to pulse points, wrists, nape of the neck and behind the ears. Keep in a cool place. Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Spiritual Application: Hyacinth represents “Crown” and Queen Esther was said to understand this symbol of the Hyacinth and decided to be beautiful through her choice to honor G-d in the situation she had found herself in. This is why she was chosen for her inner beauty.
Flower petals are normally at the top of a plant reaching for the sun and are the glorying crown of a plant. Each person is known for their face panim and countenece which is located at the top of our physical body. The smile on our faces lights up our face with positive energy and frequency or when we are sad it can take the light out of our face which means our energy and frequency are drained.
A flower can be wilting or in full bloom in all its glory and beauty, depending upon the frequency energy of our emotions. The top of the head is our “crown.” Its energy can be emanating upward, outward, and around as our bio-photon field which is our aura light. It is so true your emotion does affect others around you.
What is enfleurage? Enfleurage is a beautiful ancient technique of extracting fragrance from delicate flowers. The botanical is placed on to a layer of fat that absorbs the scent of the fresh breathing flower. The flowers are replaced every day for an extensive period of time, until the scent is captured. The base that absorbs the flower scented molecules is called a ‘pomade’.
This method was devised in early 18th century France using a fatty solid oil, and then the fat was further process with alcohol. However, I stop at the ‘pomade’ stage, so NO alcohol is used, and the fat I use is organic and 100% plant based. Pomade was also historically made in ancient Egypt and the Middle East with animal fats, using the same technique of applying flowers to a base of the fat.
