This Mediterranean lemon the ‘Eureka Lemon’ grows year-round and abundantly. This is not a common market lemon, however, you would find in a shuk in Israel right next to the Etrog Citron.
Also known as ‘Four Seasons’ (Quatre Saisons) because of its ability to produce fruit and flowers together throughout the year. As well as the pink-fleshed Eureka lemon Variety, with a green and yellow variegated outer skin is too.
This essential oil is made with both yellow and pink-fleshed Eureka Lemons which is why this lemon oil is a lovely green-yellow in color.
Most Lemon essential oils are made from the common Sorrento lemons which are native to Italy, Africa and the Middle East.
This type of Lemon is favorite among Israelis to use the leaves for tea and preparing foods because of the rich aroma and flavor.
