Castor oil bean is grown and produced in Israel. Organic, wild-harvested, and handcrafted, the benefits are endless. Castor Oil from Israel is the best castor oil on the market. Made into a refined lighter color than our traditional Dark Castor Oil, which is made from beans that are roasted as part of the extraction process, creating a black ash that helps give Black Castor bean Oil its rich, dark color and rich roasted aroma.
This oil goes through cold pressing, which involves hand pressing the castor beans without using heat or chemicals in the pressing process. The beans are cleaned by shelling, boiling the beans for a few seconds to remove impurities, then drying, and then hand-cold pressed to extract the oil. It is usually pushed through mechanical filtration to ensure it is free of all other materials also.
As an unsaturated fatty acid, ricinoleic acid, found in castor oil, has many healing abilities, including which may be:
