Our name “Aytz Chayim” was inspired from the text Ezekiel 47:12 which says:
ועל־הנחל יעלה על־שפתו מזה ומזה כל־עץ־מאכל לא־יבול עלהו ולא־יתם פריו לחדשיו יבכר כי מימיו מן־המקדש המה יוצאים והיו פריו למאכל ועלהו לתרופה׃
“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall the fruit thereof fail; it shall bring forth new fruit every month, because the waters that come out of the sanctuary; and the fruit shall be for food, and the leaf for healing medicine.”
So in 2001 I decided that my little Essential oil company would be called “Aytz Chayim” which means “Tree of Life”. I registered the name and even trademarked it well before I opened shop in 2005 online on personal website. Then in 2011 we decided to opened a little Etsy shop because we wanted to reach a wider audience. Our Etsy shop which is still a huge success we grew leaps and bounds so we decided in 2015 we launch our new website https://aytzchayim.com.
I wanted to bring these organic and wild crafted authentic essential oils from the holy land of Israel and introduce these aromatic blessings to the world. We work tirelessly to bring our customers the healing ancient secrets of the Torah and from the knowledge of ancient Jewish texts and Sages. We want reveal to you the inner Holy Temple that G-d created within us all. And because “it is meritorious to anoint our bodies for healing because our bodies are a miniature image of the Holy Temple” that came straight from our Creator in Heaven and the universe who allowed our divine sense of smell came out from Gan Aden (Garden of Eden) untouched so that it can help us find the right healing herbs and spices to heal our body (our Temple).
Understanding this is how we can indeed get back to the Garden and bring a little piece of divine heaven of healing on earth. We felt it so important to help others understand that we are building the Holy Temple for healing not the pyramids for profit like some essential oil companies do. This little family owned business is a working progress and feel very grateful and blessed by how G-d has lead us in making it a huge success. We still strive to keep our company small in operations and humble so we may better serve our valued Customers and to keep costs down but stay completive. We never strive for quantity as much as we are striving for quality and integrity.
