This essential oil is a rare thick, viscous, and dark red amber resin liquid that is natural solvent extraction from the resin of the myrrh plant/bush Commiphora myrrha. This Myrrh is an extremely high-quality oil that is rich amber red in color and of a very thick, almost syrup, sticky paste consistency, and pourable. Careful this one can stain clothes. Myrrh is a reddish resin collected from the short thorny tree of the Commiphora myrrha plant. The trunk exudes a natural oleoresin that hardens into what is classified as reddish brown “tears”. Native collectors make incisions into the trees in order to increase the yield.
