Manufactured using the traditional Deg-Bhapka method by our Israeli Artisan Distiller, Moshe Amir in Israel. He travels often to India to make several attars and brings back so many amazing mixtures of dense perfumes. Moshe’s father is from India, and his mother is a Jewish Israeli. Can you imagine eating in his home growing up?
Wow! Moshe likes being a part of the action to see the process from beginning to end. India has a deep, intimate relationship with botanical aromas and natural perfumes as well as spices, incense, aromatic oils, and flowers. Often used in all life events and cycles as well as in cooking. So Moshe enjoys traveling to India to experience the process very much.
Vetiver has an earthy, woody aroma characteristic of most essential oils derived from roots in the earth. It also has a rich, sweetly satisfying note that is both warm and masculine. Uplifting and warm.
Vetiver attar is produced through the distillation of the root part of the plant (vetiver grass). The roots of vetiver being a plant, possess one of the most exotic aromas imaginable; a unique earthy aroma which has captured the imagination of people for centuries. It is distilled with East Indian Sandalwood Mysore and vetiver grass and roots to create a very fragrant vetiver attar accord.
The oil of Vetiver attar is also referred to as “Oil of Tranquillity” in India, and is one of the favorite ancient attars from the ancient world of aromatic perfume. In some countries, Attar vetiver is also known as “Green Vetiver,” which gives a fresh crisp, bright bite with a smoky, balanced nuance.
