Other Fingered citron (Citrus medica L. var. sarcodactylis Swingle, Foshou in Chinese) is well known as an excellent and popular Chinese herbal medicine and functional vegetable. Fingered citron is rich of essential oil, which exhibits antioxidant, antiradical, and antimicrobial properties. Most Citron essential oils on the market is this citron oil. Fingered Citron is a hybrid fruit and is not to be mistaken as an Etrog Citron which grows in Israel that is not a hybrid.
