This stunning Franincense Is a show off in color and aroma which has a woody, fresh, clean, with a slight citrus orangey fruity-like aroma. It is not as orangey as the standard papyrifera but still lovely with a nice incense dry down bottom note. This oil has the properties of being both enlivening and relaxing to the mind and emotions.
With its warm emerald green color, it is smashing to see and oh-so-beautiful to look at, you just would not believe which just cannot be captured in pictures. You have to experience this one for yourself.
What does Holy Land Charged mean?
All our Resin Essential oils have been “Holy Land Charged”. We source high-quality resins from sustainable, fair trade, organic wild-harvested farms that are shipped directly to Israel. The heavy fragrant resins are then placed in an Israeli-made clay jar in Israel for 18 days in a dry, cool place to absorb the energy of the Holy Land and it is then distilled by the traditional method in Israel. This process is what we call “Holy Land Charged”.
We will distill for 3-4 hours and we do this because 80-89% of the most important molecules in oil needed for medicinal purposes are produced in the first 2-3 hours of distillation. Distilling longer than 4 hours will maximize the yield, so this may also result in the breaking down, destroying, or lowering the value of some of the most precious Frankincense chemistry constituents molecules such as Monoterpenes and Myrcene, Limonene, alpha-Pinene, and more. These are much needed in full concentration to get the full medicinal and therapeutic benefits of Frankincense resin essential oils.
The blue-green aquamarine color of the oil comes from being distilled in copper. The amazing color is blue due to a very slight amount of copper ions interacting with the oil in a most unusual and unique way because it constituent within the resin that you would not get distilling in a steel or glass still.
