This lovely floral wax is derived from lavender that is leftover from the production of absolute oil, which is solvent-extracted from purple lavender varieties, Stoeches and Grosso, grown and produced in Israel. The purple lavender flowers were carefully gathered and transformed into an absolute essential oil at Rimmon Farm by Hodaya Weiss. The resulting floral wax from this process is truly outstanding!
Color can range from green to dark greenish-brown. Purple lavender wax is typically a darker shade of green. The wax has a very pleasant and strong aroma. Since this product is produced in small batches, each batch may vary in color.
Aroma is slightly sweet and peppery, with sassy sweet coumarin notes and lush lavender. It has a full-bodied fresh flower lavender scent, very much like the absolute, which is a pleasant surprise.
Waxes are easy and very forgiving to use as well as very cost effective in the exploration stage of production and waxes can add body and even texture to a composition or formula where needed. Perfect for making beautiful soaps, skincare, lotions, handwhipped skin creams, and solid perfumes. Just delightful!
