Hibiscus flowers are known for their inherent tropical feel and gorgeous coloring. They come in hues of bright yellows, vibrant pink, and deep, rich magentas. We grow the rich magenta-red varieties. We love this in hot water as a tea.
We Like making Hibiscus oil by making the flowers into a powder then a paste heat slowly. Strain and repeat 5 more times. This process is extremely hard to do since this flower is only water-soluble and not so easily soluble in oil. which is why we have to use slow heat to force the flower paste to infuse into the oil slowly.
Straining just one batch can be done 4 times before it is clear with no materials left. however, there might be a trace. It is worth all the work to see such a gorgeous color and a beautiful oil that comes out of the time invested to make this and use on hair skin and more with the lovely oil.
Hibiscus flower shows in some studies it may effectively help stop hair loss and dandruff increases hair growth. Also, it is used as a means of premature gray hair and split ends. Oil hibiscus is useful for the scalp because it has cooling and soothing properties.
