It is a distinctive perennial evergreen flowering plant with a very unique and herbcious aroma.It is the fast growing landscape flowering plant. It is extremely strong fragrant in full flowering bloom.Helichrysum Imortelle is known for its immensehealing applications and often used in herbal and aromatherapy medicine. The color is more green than yellow but can vary from batch to batch.
During the process of creating absolutes oil of these delicate flowers the natural solid wax from the plant is left behind. This is called floral wax. It retains a softer aroma than is found in the absolute, but its creamy texture makes it a desirable ingredient in its own right. However we find the helichrysum aroma does carry over quite nicely.
Waxes are easy and very forgiving to use as well as very cost effective in the exploration stage of production and waxes can add body and even texture to a composition or formula where needed. Floral waxes can be incorporated into creams, lotions, balms and soap. They tend to be very hard or semi soft and can sometimes takes more time to coax the floral wax to melt and blend, but the effort can be so very rewarding.
