The scent is unique compared to other myrrh species and is reminiscent of heavy earth tones with subtle hints of balsamic and sweet toffee. The resin is a deep, cherry wood color and produces a beautiful Orange Amber to rich red oil.

It is said that Queen Esther bathed in several species of myrrh not just traditional bittersweet myrrh we all know and love.

Kua Myrrh is extracted by natural (sugar cane) ethanolic extraction of the concrete. It is produced from harvested resins from Socotra that are put to soak and then are strained after 120 days, then put in a high-pressure vacuum crucible machine, and hours later, you have a beautiful, stunning, syrupy, viscous absolute oil. Batches are small and is omg gorgeous!
