Cherry Plum Blossom hydrosol is hand foraged and artisan distilled in house. Cherry blossoms are a beautiful auspicious flower of pink beauty and freedom. Cherry blossoms are winter’s way of saying hello it is spring now time to rise up. Cherry Blossom is a popular symbol of Asian Culture with elegance, and Cherry Blossom hydrosol is a way to bring to the traditional celebration of G-d’s creation of His season of spring and nature’s revival.
Standing under the trees looking up through the cool air and sunshine at the the blossoms flying in the air you can almosy hear the blossoms wisper it is time to open up to the possibilities of more light and happiness coming your way this year and telling us to just let go and be free.
My youngest son and I started foraging these beautiful blossoms together many years back and its a time we enjoy doing together. I remember when I first distilled cherry blossom in 2015 for the first time I was just absolutely stunned by the subtle cherry vanilla like notes of aroma from the blossoms recorded over into the hydrosolwater distillation. Wow just wow! Who says you cannot steam distill such delicate flowers? I remember when my collegues scoffed and doing such a thing and felt it was a waste of time and energy! Well I certainly disagree, it was worth every moment!
