This amazing and rare essential oil is from organic healing plants that are native to the Holy Land and is grown locally grown. This amazing oil is distilled during the summer when the plant reaches its maximum yield. Known as White Hyssop. Hyssop is a plant mentioned frequently in the Bible, primarily associated with purification and cleansing rituals. It was used during the Passover to apply the blood of the lamb on doorposts (Exodus 12:22) and in various ceremonial cleansings (Leviticus 14:4-6).
Symbolic Meaning: Hyssop symbolizes spiritual cleansing and renewal. It represents G-d’s desire for His people to be pure and holy. The use of hyssop in various rituals highlights its role in the process of atonement and forgiveness.

We first introduced Zuta Lavana in our line 2004 from Kibbutz Urim. Since then we discovered this plant grows all over the Holy Land in the Galilee region, the Upper Jordan Valley, the northern valleys, Gilboa, Carmel, the Samarian mountains, the Judean Hills, Sharon, and Shefela.
Dilute in a carrier oil for a soothing cough chest rub or a calming digestive tummy rub. It’s cooling, antibacterial, and antiviral, helping to ease joint pain and reduce inflammation. We love pairing it with a drop of blue tansy oil to quickly decrease swelling and soothe discomfort.
