Bakuchi Seed Oil are imported from Sri Lanka to Israel and is made by cold pressing these seeds from the Bakuchi plant. Bakuchi (sometimes known as Babchi and Bakuchiol ) is traditionally a native plant of India and Sri Lanka and has a rich history of use in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. 100% Pure Organic Artisan Cold Pressed Bakuchi oil (Babchi oil) with a 9-10% Bakuchiol concentration.

Great for treatment skin irritations and is known as nature’s retinol for hair care. Bakuchi oil is rich in essential fatty acids, which help to nourish and hydrate the skin. Lighten sunspots and age spots as well.It also contains antioxidants, which protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and reduces inflammation, whilst improving skin tone and texture. It is also known to be beneficial for moisturising and nourishing dry hair, helping to reduce frizz and flyaways and promote growth.

This is a Carrier oil that will need to be diluted because it is so very concentrated. A little goes a long way Bakuchi Oil is used widely in health, beauty and personal care formulations and blends. It can be used in cosmetic, face, body and haircare applications. Including in haircare products like conditions and masks can help give shine and smoothness to dry hair and seems to have a noticable hair growth after each use as reported by some customers.

This oil is highly concentrated, so we recommend using only a small amount (a few drops) at a time, or mixing it with a carrier oil of your choice. Some great non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) carrier oils for facial skin are argan oil, hemp seed oil, prickly pear, and rosehip seed oil, just to name a few. For hair we recommend castor oil,prickly pear, argan oil, jojoba oil, habiscus, Sesame seed, or black cherry. Bakuchiol is the active ingredient of bakuchi, which is why we list the percentage strength. If you are not mixing the bakuchiol serum with other products use cautiously only a drop to target areas where needed (and using more is not recommended). This bakuchiol serum is only recommended to be used once a day (or night) 1-2 times a week.
