It is made from the leaves of the bitter orange tree (neroli and bitter orange are also made from this same tree–Neroli from the flowers and Bitter Orange from the rind of the fruit).
Petitgrain essential oil is best for reducing spasms, calming the nervous system, and bringing an emotionally balancing and uplifting effect. This oil blends beautifully with Bergamot, Orange, and Roman Chamomile for reducing the pain and spasms from irritable bowl syndrome. Great for stress release and relaxation.
