This is the Holy Grail perfume, made from my personal ultra-rare vintage Mysore Sandalwood Oil collection. A once-in-a-lifetime offering: of old-growth East Indian Mysore sandalwood oil from the absolute pinnacle of perfumery’s golden age, between 1905–1941. This Sandalwood offered in this perfume is from 1940 batch. Approximately 85 years old made heartwood of trees from 100 to 200 year old.
This is not “vintage” in the modern sense; this is the liquid heartwood of 100–200-year-old wild Santalum album trees, distilled and bottled by a legendary essential-oil house of the era, before export bans and over-harvesting changed sandalwood mysore forever.
A century-old Mysore Sandalwood oil emanates the scent of Holy Temple sweet incense, warm cream, and sacred wood. This unique blend of oils has French origins from before World War I, evoking the aromatic memories of the roaring twenties era.

What is Sandalwood Mysore Oil: East Indian sandalwood oil (Santalum album) sourced from the Mysore region, derived from the wild, old-growth heartwood of trees that are 100 to over 200 years old. This batch is from 1941, made from tree heartwood that was most likely already over 100 years old before harvest and distillation.
Bottled in Grasse, France, by a company that was one of the three largest essential oil producers in the world at that time. Any Sandalwood Mysore aged for 85 to 100 years typically has a rich, buttery texture with slightly resinous qualities, culminating in endless creamy-woody notes during the dry-down phase. Typically has a rich, darker color than young batches.
