About: Inula Viscosa grows in the Mediterranean area’s rocky soil and has pale green leaves and yellow flowers.
To make essential oil several thousand pounds of leaves and flowers are distilled in order to produce a single liter of essential oil. However, we have found this oil can be produced on a smaller scale. Less yield but it still takes a lot of material to produce this oil.

The potent powder is earthy, sweet, green, and slightly camphorus.
Suggested Use is as a Tea (put powder in tea bag), Balms, Salves, Creams, Tinctures, Cold Pressed Oils, and Skincare. Use as paste for stings and bug bites, paste for wound care and more

Inula Viscosa has not been evaluated for safety with specialty populations, however, the chemistry shows that it is safe and free of toxic compounds. Caution should NOT be used if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Beekeepers in Israel use the fresh leaves and flowers in the field to treat bee stings. But can also use a paste of dry plant material also In ancient texts and commentaries, it is mentioned as a treatment for toxic snake bites.
