There is only two Artisan Distillers of Frankincense Boswella Neglecta in the world. One is in Canada who is a very well respected Artisan. And in Israel we started distilling Neglecta Essential oil in 2015 and we can never keep this one in stock for long.
We import our resin from very reliable and sustainable fair trade resources to Israel. Israeli Distilled and Bottled in Israel. The heavy fragrant resin is then place in a Israeli made clay Jar in Israel for 18 days in a dry, cool place to absorb the energy of the Holy Land and it is then distilled by traditional method in Israel. This process is what we call “Holy Land Charged” essential oil.
After a distillation of our lovely rare essential oil of Boswella Neglecta resin is completed, the essential oil is collected from the distillate water then what we are left with is a rich fragrant distilled “water” which can be used as a refreshing body spray, a base for creams, lotions, and perfume blends. This is a hydrosol or a hydrolat aromatic water that contain tiny trace droplets of the essential. Hydrosol water is a by product of the distilled essential oil.
This is a gorgeous smelling hydrosol distilled from the Boswellia neglecta from a combo of dark brown to black neglecta resin from Ethiopia. It’s aroma is amber, slightly spicy, citrus and hint of honey notes. It has soft melody of sweet caramel, black pepper, with a hint coriander, and cardamom. This is a very unusual and very rare Frankincense hydrosol. Its aroma is uplifting, relaxing, rejuvenating, mind and heart healing, peaceful mind, and helps make you feel completely grounded and balanced. Keep refrigerated is best.
