Deeper Use for Color Therapy
The Rabbis teach that you get rid of one sin/bad habit and not replace it with good deeds and habits it can come back and grow to seven more bad habits/sins in addition to the one that was left.
At first, the person will feel like they have conquered the sin and habit without much effort when they chose to just stop. However, one does not put the complete effort in and address the lower part of their nature (flesh-Nefesh) and replace each one of these sins with good deeds and good habits through Torah and Mitzvos, the imprint of the bad behavior/sin will remain in the lower nature. The imprint left will take over again and create seven more bad habits/sins along with the one that was left.
If one does address the imprint left and replaces it with Torah and Mitzvos then each good deed creates seven good mitzvos and good deeds. So it is important to not just stop, but take action to give your lower nature a full scrub so your higher self/ Neshama can grow to its fullest potential to connect fully with G-d.
A sin can be referred to as an unclean spirit. For example, when someone is rebellious this can be referred to as an unclean spirit of rebellion. So in essence, if you do not cleanse fully of an unclean spirit it can be replaced with seven more unclean spirits.
