Orange-colored center lime is so out of this world good. Wow! When I first saw this fruit it was this fruit that caught my eye. The aroma and even how it looked just captured my attention. The fruit is grown in USA and South America too so  the batches are small and in short in supply to distill. Common fruit is from Malaysia but grown all over the world..

We had to bring this one into our line. We steam Distill this amazing fruit in our Steel or Glass still.

Israel is just now starting to grow these beauties next to Limetta this fruit is a favorite for making sauces, salad dressings, and other culinary delights and is coveted for perfume-making in some parts of the world.

Eating the fruit has a look of a green orange, a citrus mandarin-like aroma but a spicy kaffir limey tang, and is oh-so-sweet to taste like a kumquat but sharp, tartness that is distinctively Calamansi.

Extraction: The Artisan processes the peels/rinds of the calamansi fruit which are cold pressed and then the left over peels and fruit is then steam distilled to collect and pull out as much essential oil and hydrosol as possible then the cold pressed peel essential oil is blended with the distilled essential oil to give a whole spectrum of this beautiful fruit. Much like the same process we do with our Jaffa Orange,  Judean Lime, Etrog, and Judean Lemon essential oil.

Excellant for making creams, lotions, body wash and soap,.These Hydrosols consist entirely of cellular botanical water, which includes unique water-soluble compounds and tiny droplets of essential oil that provide each hydrosol with distinct characteristics and benefits. These High -Quality Hydrosols contain the essence of the plant in every drop.

Recommended keeping hydrosols in the refrigerator for freshness. The healing benefits are the same as the essential oils. Recommended for topical use only. Do not spray on the face because there are essential oil droplets from the distillation in the hydrosol product.
