Clear in Color And thin to medium consistency with a very strong aroma of coconut. Although it looks a bit like store-bought virgin coconut oil, this oil has a deeper, creamier, and much longer-lasting aroma that smells so much like roasted coconut. The message from the bottle to your nose will tell you differently that this is a very deep complex creamy coconut.
The aroma is Rich, Creamy, Buttery, and slightly vanilla sweet, almost like smelling the aroma of freshly grated toasted coconut pieces. This was like an OMG moment with a big WOW following in my heart when I smelled this oil. It is the best coconut I think I have ever encountered.
When I breathe this one in I think of sundaes sprinkled with toasted butter-cream coconut slivers at a beach Cafe in the South of France. You can almost taste it as you are smelling it from the bottle. Unbelievable!
I like blending with Chocolate Abs, Patchouli, Ginger, Lavender, Spearmint, Neroli, Ylang Ylang, and almost all Citrus essential oils.
CO2 extracts almost always smell very close to the aroma of plants, resins, or flower material but exhibit more of the material’s rich aroma in strength. Compared to absolutes, CO2 extracts are lighter and do not contain any traces of solvents making them more suitable for aromatherapy and natural perfume purposes.
GS analysis of Coconut CO2 shows the main constituents are Lauric Acid (56.2%), Myristic Acid (16.7%).
It is uplifting, great for the skin, and is most lovely for making natural perfume blends.
One of my favorite blends to do with this oil is
1 drop of Chocolate Abs Oil,
10 drops of Coconut CO2 Essential Oil Blend
1 drop of Sweet Joppa Orange EO
1 drop of Gardenia Enfleurage Oil
and 1 drop of Jasmine Sombac Abs Oil
Mix well and apply. Just Beautiful!
